I did a revamp of the kids bedroom and made sure that the room remained neutral since they do share a bedroom currently .

We started with colors from Home Depot and surprisingly they choose great colors that meshed well .

Kids bedroom before was not aesthetically pleasing but also my son had a growing Lego obsession that was piling up on floating shelves – by the time I took this picture the legos were all taken down – but as you can see , not so safe for a 6 year old taking legos off and on these shelves .

My daughter’s side was also just a wall of randomness and things we held onto since she was born .
Needless to say their room needed a revamp

The vision for my son’s side and it slowly coming to life.
Nice oak wood tiered shelving station for his legos. This was a big win for him and us . This meant no more legos on floating wall shelves !

I think my favorite part of my son’s wall are these acrylic floating magazine holders – we repurposed them for all his favorite hotwheels and we got a wall mount for his Lamborghini.

As for my daughter’s side – we kept it simple and did get her some wall art as well as incorporating a couple of items we had since she was born .

The prints are from Etsy – I purchased the image then printed them out at my local Office Depot .

Finishing touches was this super cool neon light – we have “come as you are” throughout our home . Nirvana fans ❤ and ultimately come as you are . In addition, a super cute runner from Ruggable ! The best part about these carpets/runners is that they are washable & that is a big win with littles.

I really had fun making this room feel fun and bringing out the mama magic for my kiddos.
Love, Mama Moni
