Mom goes on a work trip ✈️

When ever I go on a work trip the kids always ask for something (souvenir) to bring back. This time they asked for coloring books and markers – truly music to my ears !

Stopped at the local Milwaukee Barnes & Nobles and found these super fun coloring books.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar is pure nostalgia!

I mean how cool is this ! You get to create your own version of the book . I think it’s even cooler that this is my sons book of the month.

Then there’s the Cozy Corner coloring books that in my opinion are suitable for both kids and adults ! Win win!

Small corner spruce up 💚

As you can tell this corner is hot and heavy – it’s our cords and gadgets shelves and over time just becomes an eye sore .

Hyacinth basket

Decided to get some accessory boxes in two sizes to hide the cords , chargers and battery packs .

Cord boxes

Cable ties

Hyacinth basket for our aprons and of course the kiddos aprons had to also be included

We can’t always be aesthetically pleasing , but we try.

Small bathroom meets Modern Vintage decor 🖼️

We live in a very small home , so it’s all about elevating our space ! This is the second time I have done a DIY decor take on our bathroom. I painted the walls from ceiling and where the wall met tile (very dated bathroom) . The tile for us is a keeper though so I truly work around it and quite frankly have grown fond of it.

Fresh paint and new wallpaper really turned this space around.

Wallpaper is from Wallblush – “Wedded Woodlands Wallpaper” peel & stick. The great thing about this wallpaper is that all you have to do is input your wall measurements and they do the rest .https://wallblush.com/products/wedded-woodlands-1?_pos=1&_sid=fe8cfcb0c&_ss=r

I purchased different frames of all sizes from my local Home Goods store .

I used pictures from some of my personal books . Most pictures are from “Florence Welch – Useless Magic” book .https://amzn.to/4jTVorz

Also found a few items on Etsy , such as the tile and small gold frame .

Purchased an extra long European Linen shower curtain from West Elm – super high quality . I love it .

Gold shower hooks from Amazon https://amzn.to/4jPiOyj

Bath mats – these are my favorite . They dry so fast and have grip on them as well. https://amzn.to/42P3Tgu

Since I was going with the gold accents I also purchased a gold toilet bowl cleaner ! https://amzn.to/4lKpWhn

Gold trinkets were also a must for my small sink.
